These classes follow the USA Gymnastics progressive level system. The program sets the foundation on which more difficult skills are built. Students master the basics before they move up to the next level.
For those who have achieved higher skill levels and are considering competitive gymnastics, you may request to transfer from the Cadets program into the Team Program with the recommendation of the instructor.

Elite level Artistic gymnastics coach and choreographer, and has renowned her success as a coach at local, state, national and international competitive gymnastics levels. With over 35 years of experience in Russian style coaching and training with beginning skill levels through elite. Has a strong emphasis on technique and safety.
As a former competitive gymnast,she has transitioned her experience into a successful Coaching career in youth gymnastics. Her focus on coaching has been with pre-school through high school levels of gymnastics.
Former USAG competing gymnast. USAG Safety Certification. USAG Professional Member.
Former USAG competing gymnast. Started gymnastics at the age of 5, competed levels 5 – 8 in USA Gymnastics, moved on to high school gymnastics where her team won Sections (Big 9). Michelle’s daughter Lexi is currently in Elite’s Level 4 team program. Michelle holds a J.D. from St. Thomas School of Law and a B.S. in Child Psychology from the U of MN and is family law attorney when she is not coaching. American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified. Ongoing EGA training.
Andrea “Andy” Magnuson. Andy started gymnastics at age 3, actively practiced for 15 years. Started coaching at age 14 in 2003, with experience in levels Preschool through USAG 10 and ages 18 months to 18 years. Receiving numerous first place honors both at Jam Hops Gymnastics competing USAG levels 5-8 as well as at Blaine High School competing 3 seasons of Varsity All-Around where letter, All-Conference and All-State achievements were also awarded.
