Elite level Artistic Gymnastics coach with more than 35 years of International, Regional and State level experience. Ten years of head coaching responsibilities in the United States, with competitive and recreational programs including program curriculum and club management.

1973: B.A. Degree in Physical Education, National Institute of Physical Training of Republic of Kazakhstan

1961-1973:  Competing Athlete, Five time National Champion - Kazakhstan, Artistic Gymnastics

  • 1973-1975:  Instructor - Department of Gymnastics, Institute of Physical Cultures of Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • 1975-1980:  Head Coach, Gymnastics Team, Burivestnik Sports Club, Kazakhstan
  • 1980-1984:  Coach - Level 7- Elite Gymnasts, Kazakhstan
  • 1984-1990: Head Coach, Gymnastics National Team of Kazakhstan (KazSSR)
  • 1987-1990: Coach of USSR National Team, Moscow. Participation in International Tournaments and Championships
  • 1990-1997: Head Coach National Team of Kazakhstan. Participation in International Tournaments and Championships.
  • 1997-2000: Head Coach, International Gymnastics Training Center, Minnesota, USA.
  • 2000-2001: Head Coach/Programs Director, American Elite Gymnastics, Minnesota, USA
  • 2001-2007: Program Director/Head Coach, Vitaliy Scherbo School of Gymnastics, Nevada, USA

COACHING ACHIVEMENTS

  • 1990: Gold Medal "Best coach of USSR." Coach of Irina Kozhevnikova - Three time Champion of Republic of Kazakhstan and Member - National Team of Republic of Kazakhstan
  • 1997: World Championships, Switzerland
  • 1999: World Championships, China. Member - National Team of USSR
  • Prizewinner: USSR and international tournaments
  • Prepared 13 students for a Master of Sports Degree as Kazakhstan Coach including Natalya Yegorova, 1996 National Champion of Kazakhstan Republic and 1997 runner-up.
