Girls Gymnastics Team

The goal of EGA's Women's Gymnastics program is to bring our young athletes to their fullest potential in competitive gymnastics.

Our competitive team program puts an emphasis on discipline, perseverance, mental awareness, and team unity. Our highly experienced coaching staff is dedicated to offer each gymnast the best professional instruction in competitive USA Gymnastics. They are extremely passionate about their role in guiding gymnasts through training and helping them develop into strong, disciplined athletes both mentally and physically.

Our competitive girls team members practice 8-25 hours per week.

We are proud to announce Erika Lattimore (JO Level 9) as our July Student of the Month!

Erika's favorite event is Bars because "the new skills are really exciting to learn and execute!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "a Front Giant on Bars". Erika started gymnastics when she was 3 years old at EGA in the Baby Cubs class! "Gymnastics takes a lot of hard work, time, and dedication both mentally and physically, but it's worth it when you get new skills and great results in competition!" Erika loves that gymnastics is always different -- "Each day and each level brings new challenges and exciting skills". To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting 2nd Place on Bars at Regionals this past season!". When she's rarely not at the gym, Erika likes to spend time with family and friends, and her favorite book is Courage to Soar by Simone Biles. Not a lot of people know Erika is moving to Georgia on Friday -- "I am so thankful to my EGA Coaches who have taught me great gymnastics and set me up for success at my new gym... I will miss you all!" ... And EGA will miss Erika.

Keep up the good work, Erika! Good luck to you at your new gym! You will be deeply missed.

We are proud to announce Ariana Frechette (JO Level 3 Team) as our March Student of the Month!

Ariana's favorite event is Floor because "I can do more skills on it than others!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "a round-off back-tuck". Ariana started gymnastics when she was 8 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting 1st Place at State!". Not a lot of people know Ariana has 4 brothers, and when she is not at the gym... She's doing gymnastics at home!

Keep up the good work, Ariana!

We are proud to announce Myla Ballard (JO Girls Level 5) as our January Student of the Month!

Myla's favorite event is Floor because "Floor is my best event and I like tumbling!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "Back Tuck". Myla started gymnastics when she was only 5 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting my back-walkover on beam!". Although having to keep going after a bad fall can be challenging, learning new skills makes it all worth it! Myla's favorite book is the Land of Stories. Not a lot of people know Myla has taken figure skating lessons, and when she is not at the gym... She loves making cookies and being outside!

Keep up the good work, Myla!

EGA Families!

EGA is CLOSED December 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st, & January 1st. We will not hold Special Events, Open Gym, Recreational Classes, or Team Practices these dates.

EGA's Level 3 Team takes FIRST PLACE at State!

We are so proud and excited for our gymnasts -- Their dedication and hard work really paid off after receiving an all-around Team Score of 114.075 at the 2017 Minnesota Compulsory Level 3-5 State Championships!

We are proud to announce Anika Campbell (JO Girls Level 3 Team) as our November Student of the Month!

Anika's favorite event is Floor because "I like to tumble!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "a double back hand-spring". Anika started gymnastics when she was only 6 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Making it on Team". Although bars can be hard, tumbling makes it all worth it! Anika's favorite books are J. B. Jone's Books, and when Anika is not at the gym... She tumbles some more!

Keep up the good work, Anika!

We are proud to announce Elizabeth Hallum (JO Girls Level 9 Team) as our October Student of the Month!

Elizabeth's favorite event is Floor because "I like tumbling, and dancing in my routine too!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "my double twist on Floor". Elizabeth started gymnastics when she was in Kindergarten. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting my Pirouette bail on bars. Also connecting it with my double back!". Although the being tall makes bars challenging at time at times, accomplishing new skills and perfecting them makes it all worth it! Not a lot of people know Elizabeth started dance when she was only 2 years old and was in Competitive Dance for 7 years! Elizabeth's favorite book is Courage to Soar by Michelle Burford and Simone Biles, and when Elizabeth is not at the gym she enjoys shopping!

Keep up the good work, Elizabeth!
